Goose Island Honker's Ale

Goose Island Honker's Ale - he likes it!  This is a very respectable English Style Bitter. A bit different from my old standby Bass Pale Ale, perhaps a bit milder.  Better mouth feel.  Taste wise it is a tossup for me between Bass and Honker's. But I will probably be buying Honker's from now on because I can harvest the bottles for home brew. Bass bottles have a different size mouth and won't take American bottle caps. Another consideration: I'm more likely to find Honker's on sale.  So this is my new go to beer for everyday. hat is until I start brewing my own. :-)

This is a very happy find on my part. English style bitter is pretty rare around here and it makes me happy to have two brands to choose from. Win!
